Among the announced artists are Mannarino, Habib Koité and Eric Bibb; in Castiglione del Lago, at the Medieval Fortress, John Nemeth is expected on July 25.

On July 22, 2026, Castiglione del Lago celebrates its patron saint Santa Maria Maddalena with the traditional boat procession on Lago Trasimeno, from Lido Arezzo to Lido Comunale, the terrestrial procession in the historic center and the grand finale with fireworks on the lake.

The Trasimeno stage of the Umbria Balloon Festival takes place from July 24 to 26, 2026 in Castiglione del Lago. Free and tethered balloon flights and the Trasimeno Night Glow, the evening show of illuminated balloons (July 25 and 26), are part of the first edition of the regional programme that reaches 14 Umbrian municipalities.

The 7th edition of the Trasimeno Prog Festival takes place from August 20 to 23, 2026 at the Medieval Fortress of Castiglione del Lago. Four evenings of progressive rock: the Pink Floyd Night with Drunk Side and Ranestrane, Le Orme with Trilogy live, a symphonic tribute to Italian prog, and the jazz‑rock evening with Agorà and Tony Esposito.
