In 2026 Retrò returns every third Sunday of the month in the historic centre of Città di Castello, opening the year with 125 exhibitors. Antiques, modern antiques and vintage unfold across Piazza Matteotti, the streets and squares of the centre, from 8:30 to 20:00, with possible new exhibition areas.

Morra a Tutta Birra will return between July and August 2026 in the Morra district, in Città di Castello, with craft beer, typical dishes such as oven-roasted shank and Florentine steak, concerts, and DJ sets every evening. The 59th edition of the Festival of Nations, from August 27 to September 11, 2026, is dedicated to Germany and German‑speaking countries: a journey through Mitteleuropa visiting Berlin, Vienna, Potsdam, Munich and Salzburg, with Johann Sebastian Bach at its core. Opening on August 27 at the Teatro degli Illuminati with pianist Ramin Bahrami, artist‑in‑residence.

The 2026 edition of the Alberto Burri National Competition will take place on August 27 and 28 in Città di Castello, as part of the Festival delle Nazioni. It is open to young chamber music ensembles (average age under 33) born or residing in the EU and holding diplomas from recognized conservatories. Registrations close on August 17, 2026.

The new edition of the Mostra Mercato Nazionale del Libro Antico e della Stampa Antica (National Antiquarian Book and Print Fair) will return to Palazzo Vitelli in Sant'Egidio di Città di Castello on the first weekend of September 2026, featuring around 40 Italian and international booksellers and dealers. The 46th edition of the National Truffle Fair (Salone Nazionale del Tartufo Bianco Pregiato) will be held over three weekends in November 2026 in Città di Castello, with an important new feature: the debut of the Palazzo del Bianco, a new exhibition space in the historic center. The rich program of markets, cooking shows, workshops, and truffle dog competitions is confirmed.
