Days at the Borgo — Medieval Reenactment and Palio delle Contrade 2026
Aug 13 – Aug 14Fornelli (Isernia) The Giornate al Borgo 2026, scheduled for August 13th and 14th, marks the 30th edition of the medieval reenactment in Fornelli. Two evenings of historical parades, shows, the raising of the drawbridge, the Palio delle Contrade (district race), and the Burning of the Castle will animate the walled village. Detailed program information will be announced by Pro Loco Fornelli in the weeks leading up to the event.
