The 39th Italian International Balloon Grand Prix is scheduled from July 24th to August 2nd, 2026, between Gualdo Cattaneo (San Terenziano airfield), Massa Martana, and Lake Trasimeno. Approximately 100 hot air balloons from around the world, dawn flights every morning, and the evening Night Glow on Sunday, July 27th, on Lake Trasimeno.

The Festival of the Reenactment of the Vegetal Charcoal Production returns to Pomonte from August 6 to August 15, 2026. Ten days dedicated to the ancient craft of the charcoal burners, featuring the reenactment of the carbonaia, dancing evenings, and food stalls offering traditional Pomontian specialties, including lumache and oca.

The Grutti Festival 2026 takes place on the days of August 21-23 and 26-30, in the hamlet of Gualdo Cattaneo. In honor of the Madonna di Santa Maria d'Agello, protector of the fields, the village offers a medieval dinner, a historical procession, square dances, live music, local gastronomy, and scenes of medieval life.

The 50th edition of Agosto-Settembre Gualdese is scheduled to take place from August 27th to September 3rd, 2026 in Gualdo Cattaneo. The Monte, Pieve, and Rocca districts compete in medieval floats, archery, and barrel racing, culminating in the Palio dell'Arrampicata (Climbing Palio). The program includes historical parades, taverns, shows, and medieval reenactments.
