On the night of December 13th, especially in the cities of Bergamo, Brescia, Verona, Cremona, Lodi, and Pavia, it is said that Saint Lucy brings gifts to children who have been good throughout the year. The celebration involves Saint Lucy, accompanied by a donkey and a cart, traveling through the streets of the town, delivering gifts to children's homes.
