On December 5th, 2026, Termoli celebrates Saint Bassus in Winter, the liturgical memorial of the city's and diocese's patron saint. Solemn pontifical Mass at dawn in the Cathedral of Santa Maria della Purificazione and a procession to the port in memory of those lost at sea, with the fishermen's prayer.

The Borgo dei Presepi (Nativity Village) is expected to return to Termoli's Ancient Village for Christmas 2026, featuring an itinerary of artistic and electromechanical nativity scenes curated by the Amici Presepisti (Friends of Nativity Scenes). Openings will be concentrated on weekends and holidays during the Christmas season; dates and details will be confirmed closer to the holidays.

The Municipality of Termoli traditionally presents the Capodanno in Piazza (New Year's Eve in the Square) in Piazza Vittorio Veneto to welcome the new year with music and outdoor entertainment. The program for the late 2026 edition is announced in the months leading up to the event as part of the Natale a Termoli (Christmas in Termoli) festival.
