The 13th edition of Archeologia Industriale e Vernacolo is held from 16 to 25 July 2026 outdoors, at the Belvedere Superiore della Cascata delle Marmore (Parco I Campacci-Libero Liberati), in Marmore di Terni. Amateur companies from all over Italy present performances in dialect and/or Italian of a comic‑brilliant genre. Organized by Pro Loco Marmore with the U.I.L.T.

The third edition of the Terni Summer Fest runs from July 17 to August 27, 2026, between the Roman Theatre of Carsulae and the squares of Terni's historic centre. On the bill: Cristiana Capotondi, Stefano Massini, Arianna Porcelli Safonov, Gabriele Granito, a stand‑up comedy evening and the grand finale “Terni Suona – Buena Vista Social Club”. Artistic direction by Davide Sacco and Ilaria Ceci.

The Waters Festival of Piediluco (Terni) returns in the summer of 2026 with the traditional nighttime parade of illuminated allegorical boats on the lake, accompanied by concerts, theatrical and dance performances, exhibitions, and a fish festival. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Piediluco, is structured around multiple appointments between the end of July and the beginning of August.

The Sagra de lu Sarmerinu Carbonaretto returns to Piediluco (Terni) from August 6th to 15th, 2026, with evenings dedicated to grilled perch, a local lake delicacy, at the Santa Maria del Colle parish spaces. The grand finale on August 15th, for Ferragosto, will feature the traditional nocturnal procession on the lake in honor of the Madonna dell'Eco.

The first edition of the BorgoMuse Festival takes place from September 11 to 13, 2026 in Collescipoli (Terni). Three days of folk‑popular music, ranging from ancient and medieval music to Celtic, Irish, Brazilian, Klezmer, gypsy jazz, swing and blues, with theater and reading‑performances among the collegiate, cloisters, squares and historic palaces. Artistic direction by Andrea Giuli.

The Umbria Jazz Weekend in Terni 2026 is scheduled from September 13th to 17th, with previews on the 13th and the main festival from the 14th to the 17th. The lineup features 55 concerts, most of them free in the squares and streets of the city center, along with two excursions to the Cascata delle Marmore and major evening events. Among the artists are Pedrito Martinez, Fred Wesley & The New JB's, Ray Gelato & The Giants, Funk Off, and Francesco Bearzatti.

The Sagra del Marrone returns to Miranda (Terni) in autumn 2026 with the usual celebration dedicated to chestnuts, roasted chestnuts and chestnut sweets accompanied by local wine. The exact dates of the 2026 edition are announced by the Pro Loco di Miranda in the weeks preceding the event, usually in October.

The XXII edition of the Terni Film Festival – Popoli e Religioni is scheduled for November 2026 at the CityPlex Politeama Lucioli and other venues in Terni. As per tradition, the festival will offer international competitions for feature films, shorts and documentaries, conferences and round‑table discussions on dialogue between cultures and faiths. The theme and exact dates will be announced by ISTESS in the months preceding the event.

Terni’s Christmas returns again in the winter of 2026, with the Santa Claus Market, the Christmas Village, the illuminated tree in Piazza Europa, the ice village, and the Christmas videomapping projections on the buildings of the historic center. The detailed program, with precise dates and a calendar of events, will be announced by the Municipality of Terni in the weeks leading up to the opening.

The Fiera di Santa Lucia 2026 is scheduled for Sunday 13 December, between Piazza Ridolfi and the streets of the city centre of Terni. A day of stalls and Christmas atmosphere, the last of the four historic city fairs approved by the Municipality.

The Living Nativity Scene at Parco Le Grazie in Terni returns also during the 2026/2027 Christmas period, with over a hundred extras, recited scenes and animals in the city's historic park. Exact dates and times of visits are communicated by the organizers and the Municipality of Terni in the preceding weeks, according to the established scheme between late December and Epiphany.
