The third edition of the "Città di Venafro" International Chess Tournament is expected in the first weekend of December 2026, following the success of the second edition in 2025 (130-140 players). The format with two Open tournaments based on rating categories, five rounds with long time controls, and the venue at the Venafro Palace Hotel has been confirmed. Exact dates and the tournament schedule will be announced by the organizers at a later time.
