The Trasimeno Blues Festival returns from July 18 to 26, 2026 on the shores of Lake Trasimeno, with the usual itinerant format that involves Passignano, Castiglione del Lago, Tuoro, Panicale and Marsciano. In Passignano sul Trasimeno one of the festivalβs stops is scheduled, with concerts in the outdoor spaces of the village.

The Palio delle Barche returns to Passignano sul Trasimeno from July 19th to 26th, 2026. For a week, the lakeside village comes alive with historical costume parades, competitions between the four districts, and themed taverns. The highlight is the reenactment of the 1495 escape with the boat race, partly on the water and partly a running race through the streets, carrying the boats on shoulders.

On July 22, 2026, Castiglione del Lago celebrates its patron saint Santa Maria Maddalena with the traditional boat procession on Lago Trasimeno, from Lido Arezzo to Lido Comunale, the terrestrial procession in the historic center and the grand finale with fireworks on the lake.
