Perdono di Assisi 2026
Aug 1 – Aug 2Assisi (Perugia) The Forgiveness of Assisi 2026 is celebrated on August 1st and 2nd at the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, around the Porziuncola. From 12:00 PM on August 1st to midnight on August 2nd, the faithful can obtain a plenary indulgence. Thousands of pilgrims from all over Italy gather at the sanctuary for the most significant occasion in the Franciscan calendar.
